Tips For Photographing Snails
reading time: 1 minute 4 seconds
1. How to Find Snails
Snails come out when it rains and when it's nighttime.
During a dry day they search themselves a shady, wet spot to rest. Common hiding spots are for example the underside of larger pieces of bark or dense, ground-covering plants.
You can make such a home for them yourself. I'll go in depth on this in a later tutorial.
If you find a snail during daytime and it's still in it's house, you can turn it on the the back.
The snail will come out of it's shell after a few minutes to try to get back on the ground.
2. Get Them Out Of Their Shell
If you find an empty snail shell, you can hold it in the light and it will glow magically!
Now you can get started! Search on a wet and shady spot for some snails.
