I remember the wonderful time I had with you.
You always were a place for me to retreat to, a place to find joy and wonder.
I loved your huge old trees overgrown by ivy, imagining to how many animals they provided food and a home.
While I saw some deer and birds exploring your world, I was the most interested in the most tiniest of your inhabitants. Under your leaves I discovered two kinds of snails I never had seen before.
Probably the most fascinating find was the huge wasp sleeping under the bark of a fallen tree.
It's amazing how much life the old trees give as they decay.
Before I went away, I removed the trash under your leaves. I hope this helps you.
Thank you for the wonderful memories.
All the best,
