I'm currently doing an exchange semester in Dundee, Scotland. Let me take you on one of my evening walks!
When I explore the city I usually try to get lost! Go somewhere I haven't been before and see what I can discover. Originally I was frustrated this evening that I couldn't go to my nearby nature spots (it's getting dark so soon now!!), but I thought I'd make the best of it.
So I went for an evening walk to explore the city. I ended up going towards the water and found the wonky bridge you can see above. To get there I needed to cross 4 lanes of traffic, but here in Scotland you learn to master jaywalking anyway. Everyone does it here!
After I went over the beautiful but wonky bridge on the other sides of the road I ended up in an industry area next to the harbor.
Again, I felt myself a little frustrated, as there didn't seem so much to explore & photograph here, much was simply private, locked areas. But then I found a tiny world on top of a nearby wall.
I hope you enjoyed my little sunset walk! You can do the same in your city - you might find interesting new places and things.
