So I realized I haven't written anything on here about my games recently!
Right now I have a bunch of unfinished projects to show you! ^^
This is a collaboration with someone called Niklas, for our Uni. I am doing the gameart.
You explore the Autumnal forest and discover it's little secrets. Oh and you meet mister hedgehog! :D Do you see him?
This game is meant to be played by 4-6 year old children, but we might release a version for you to enjoy too! ^^ (probably not, fuck you adults :D)
Explore a magical isle and meet a talking rabbit and a crazy old lady.
The engine we are using for this (and for Kelgar) is really good when it comes to creating the world of the game, but is a bit limiting in terms of gameplay.
It should be story-driven and atmospheric, so maybe we could turn this into sort of a point-and-click game.
Oh also the team consists of Paul (story), me (world, textures, models), Cestmir (models) and there also quite some models in there created by Keppu.
Look here is another unfinished game! ^^ I have a problem, ok?! :D
The premise of the game is:
Create Clouds ...
And watch ...
Your world GROW.
I developed this with Silvio over a Summer and oh well ... we had a moment in the end:
"Oh, so this should be interactive?"
All programming was built to let it work as an animation, not a game ... soooooo ...
Well, I ended up presenting another game. However, I still have all the art and game design done for the project ... so maybe some day you'll be able to create rain to grow your world.
I'm actually sad this project is frozen like this! :'(
I created a first version together with Corey doing the music back in 2011 (you can play it here) and then searched a team to make it new and better. We ended up redoing the whole world, so if you play the game linked above ... it's absolutely not the same ^^
Well, the world is fantastic, but same problem as with the Isle.
What to do with the gameplay??
Kelgar is Paul, me, Torben, Cestmir, Keppu, Miamelly and previously also Michiel, Filasis and Corey (yes, it's quite a big team ^^).
This is something I recently started, because I don't have already enough unfinished projects ... ehem :P I'm thinking of making a little atmospheric teaser using ingame footage, then kill this darling :'( You're watching over a space station on a seemingly deserted, lone planet.
With all those unfinished games, is there something which grabs your attention? Which title do you look forward to?
